The problem

Rich in grain, short on cash.

A producer can have tens of thousands of dollars stored in a silo bag and still lack the working capital to start the next season. The farming calendar doesn't wait for the sale.

Slow, bilateral credit

Credit against a warrant goes through a bank or a broker today: paperwork, manual approval and timelines that don't match the season.

Selling at the worst moment

The alternative is selling right after the harvest, when supply peaks and prices are at their lowest.

An asset that's already law

The warrant is regulated by Law 9,643, modernised by Decree 70/2023: electronic documents and divisible lots. Nothing new to invent.

Example
35,000 USDC sitting in a silo bag

How it works

From silo bag to USDC in four steps.

The certifier registers the grain, the contract holds the collateral, the pool lends. No intermediaries in between.

01

Issue the warrant

The storage facility certifies the deposit and mints the digital warrant — one token per ton, straight to your wallet.

02

Lock it as collateral

Deposit the warrant in the on-chain vault. The program holds it — nobody can move it, not even us.

03

Receive USDC instantly

The open pool funds your loan in the same transaction: 70% of the grain's value.

04

Repay, get it back

Repay anytime and the warrant returns automatically. If the price collapses, anyone can liquidate and the collateral goes to the pool.

What if the price drops? The contract doesn't improvise.

Watch the soy price rise and crash on its own — the same math the contract runs. If the debt goes above 80% of the collateral value, anyone can liquidate it and the collateral moves to the pool treasury.

Business model

Warehouses distribute it. Producers use it. Lenders fund it.

The first customer is the licensed warehouse that already issues warrants. Arva gives its producers a credit product without using the warehouse's balance sheet.

Why on-chain

Rules in code, not in a drawer.

A warrant on paper needs someone to trust. A warrant on Solana carries its own rules: who holds it, how much it backs and when it's liquidated.

Programmable collateral

Banks already lend against tokenised grain. Nobody has opened up the liquidity.

Since 2022, Santander, Galicia and Grupo Petersen's banks have lent against grain tokens alongside Agrotoken. Always bilateral: one bank, one producer, one approval. Arva adds the missing layer — an open pool anyone can fund, where anyone can liquidate an unhealthy loan under public rules.

The market

A booming instrument. Credit that can't keep up.

Warrant issuance is at record highs in Argentina, yet bank credit covers only a fraction of the harvest. Meanwhile, millions of Argentines hold digital dollars that finance nothing.

Roadmap

What comes after the prototype.

You are here: a working prototype on Solana devnet
01

Licensed warehouse pilot

Real warrants certified by a licensed warehouse. The metric: the first financed warrant.

02

Real price feed

A market quote with a maximum age and its own authority, instead of the simulated oracle.

03

Lender side and audit

LP shares, withdrawals for lenders and a security audit.

04

Mainnet

Real USDC, only after a legal review and the steps above.

FAQ

What everyone asks.

Is this real money?+
No. Arva runs on Solana devnet, the test network. The USDC is test money with no value, but every action is a real transaction you can verify on the explorer.
Is the contract audited?+
Not yet. It's a hackathon prototype and we say so up front. An audit comes before any real money.
Who issues the warrants?+
In the demo, a simulated certifier run by the team. In production, a warehouse company registered under Law 9,643 would issue them.
Where does the grain price come from?+
From a simulated oracle the team updates to show liquidations. Production would use an independent price feed.
How do I try it?+
Install Phantom, switch it to devnet and open the app. Tap the starter kit and you get test SOL, test USDC and a demo warrant, so you can borrow and repay in a couple of minutes. The built-in guide walks you through every screen.
Can I be an investor too?+
Yes. From the Earn screen you supply test USDC to the open pool and watch it fund loans. Interest and fees stay in the pool. Investor withdrawals are not part of this MVP.
Who pays for Arva?+
The licensed warehouse pays an integration fee and a fee per financed warrant, because Arva gives its producers credit without using its balance sheet. The producer pays a 0.75% origination fee plus interest, and the interest goes to the lenders.
Why not a warrant-backed note on MAV?+
It works, but the first one needed four institutions and a bespoke structure for about US$1M. Arva uses the same collateral for tickets that structure can't reach: one warrant, self-service, funds in seconds.
